Nanny
Nanny is a professional who provides childcare services for children whose parents are not able to do so themselves due to work or other obligations. Nannies may work at a client’s home performing all their functions there, or take care of children in their own homes; they may also work in a child care facility. Nannies can take care of children as young as a few months to children who are school age as they need care before and after school. There’s a big demand for Professional Nannies and Early Childhood Educators in New Zealand and Overseas. Last year about nine out of every ten of our graduates at level five got jobs with families and early childhood centres or went on to further study at university. Employers tell us they much prefer our graduates because of the wide range of experience they get with different families, early childhood centres and schools. Our courses are your passport to many exciting jobs with children. You can work as a professional nanny in Canada and all over the world, including England, Australia and the USA. You can choose to work with babies, older children, twins, or with infants and children who have special needs. There are exciting jobs on offer in beach and ski resorts, childrens’ holiday camps in the USA, and on cruise ships. Some graduates use their qualification to start work as an educator in an early childhood centre.
