Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM course is a 3 years diploma focuses on the provision of care to individuals, families, and communities. The course can be joined after completing of the 10+2 level of education in any stream from a recognized educational Board, with a minimum aggregate score of 40%. Nursing is a noble and virtuous profession and required dealing with different types of patients regularly so patience should the most essential skill in a nurse. The compulsory completion of a 6-months internship usually involves in the GNM Nursing course.

Duration: 3 Year

Admission for the current session will be as per the notification by Punjab Government.

Admission to G.N.M. Course will be strictly made on merit list prepared by scrutinizing the application. Candidate must submit their original merit & +2 Certificates & merit sheets on admission.

Medium of instruction will be Punjabi and English.

Age 17 Years to 35 Years.

Candidates must be 10+2 in any stream with minimum 40% marks in aggregate. For S/C and S/T candidates 35% marks in aggregate.

Candidate should be medically fit.

Preference will be given to candidates who are resident of Punjab.
